1Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the WashBros website at washbros.co.nz and your engagement of WashBros window cleaning services. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

2Services

WashBros provides professional window cleaning services for residential and commercial properties throughout Auckland, including:

  • Residential window cleaning (glass, frames, and sills)
  • Commercial window cleaning
  • Post-construction cleaning
  • Maintenance plan services

All services are subject to availability and are provided at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline any job that we deem unsafe or outside our scope of services.

3Quotes

3.1 All quotes provided by WashBros are estimates based on the information supplied by you. Final pricing may be adjusted on the day if the property differs materially from what was described (e.g. additional windows, unexpected access issues, or heavily soiled glass requiring extra time).

3.2 Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Quotes are provided free of charge with no obligation to proceed.

3.4 We reserve the right to withdraw or revise a quote prior to acceptance if circumstances change.

4Bookings and Scheduling

4.1 A booking is confirmed when WashBros has communicated acceptance of your booking via phone, text, or email.

4.2 We will provide an estimated arrival window for your appointment. While we endeavour to be punctual, arrival times may vary due to traffic or prior job overruns. We will notify you of any significant delays.

4.3 We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions that would make the service unsafe or ineffective (e.g. heavy rain, high winds). We will contact you as early as possible to arrange an alternative time.

5Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask for at least 24 hours notice. This allows us to offer the time to another client.

5.2 Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to $50, at our discretion.

5.3 Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in us requiring a deposit before future bookings are confirmed.

5.4 WashBros reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any booking at any time. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged to you.

6Maintenance Plans

6.1 Maintenance plans (e.g. 6-monthly, quarterly, or other scheduled frequencies) require a minimum commitment for the full plan period.

6.2 Maintenance plan pricing is offered at a discounted rate compared to our standard one-off clean pricing. This discount reflects the commitment to the full plan.

6.3 If you cancel a maintenance plan before completing all scheduled visits, you will be charged the difference between the standard one-off clean rate and the discounted plan rate for each visit already completed.

Example: If you sign up for a 6-monthly plan and cancel after the first visit, you will be invoiced for the difference between our standard one-off clean price and the plan price for that visit.

6.4 We will issue a catch-up invoice for any amount owing at the time of cancellation. This amount is payable within 7 days.

6.5 To cancel a maintenance plan, please contact us in writing (text or email) with at least 14 days notice before your next scheduled visit.

6.6 WashBros reserves the right to cancel a maintenance plan at any time. In this case, no cancellation adjustment will be charged to you.

7Payment

7.1 Payment is due upon completion of the service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

7.2 We accept payment via bank transfer, cash, and other methods as advised at the time of booking.

7.3 For commercial clients, invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.4 Overdue payments may incur a late payment fee. We reserve the right to pursue recovery of unpaid amounts through appropriate channels.

8Access to Property

8.1 You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas requiring cleaning, including unlocking gates, moving furniture or obstructions where necessary, and advising us of any hazards.

8.2 If we are unable to access the property or complete the job due to reasons within your control, we reserve the right to charge for the visit.

8.3 If you will not be present during the service, you confirm that you authorise us to access the relevant areas of your property.

9Liability

9.1 WashBros is fully insured for public liability. We take all reasonable care when performing our services.

9.2 We are not liable for pre-existing damage to windows, frames, sills, or surrounding surfaces that was not caused by our work. We encourage you to advise us of any known issues before we begin.

9.3 If you believe damage has occurred as a result of our work, you must notify us within 48 hours of the service being completed. We will not accept liability for damage reported after this period.

9.4 Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from our services.

9.5 WashBros is not liable for any damage caused by defective or failed window seals, frames, or fittings that were not caused by our work.

10Satisfaction Guarantee

10.1 We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the result, please contact us within 48 hours of the service and we will return to address any missed areas at no additional charge.

10.2 This guarantee applies to areas included in the original scope of work and does not cover issues caused by weather, recontamination, or factors outside our control after the service has been completed.

11Health and Safety

11.1 WashBros complies with the New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. Our team will not perform work that poses an unreasonable risk to their health and safety.

11.2 We reserve the right to stop work at any time if we identify a hazard that cannot be safely managed.

11.3 Please ensure pets and children are kept away from work areas during our visit.

12Use of Our Website

12.1 You agree to use the WashBros website for lawful purposes only.

12.2 The content on washbros.co.nz (including text, images, and branding) is owned by WashBros and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

12.3 While we take reasonable steps to ensure our website is accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all information is current or error-free.

13Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If you are acquiring our services for personal or household use, you have rights that these Terms cannot override.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
