What's Actually Included in a Professional Window Clean?

When most people think of window cleaning, they picture someone wiping the glass. That's it. But there's a big difference between a basic glass wipe and a thorough professional clean — and it shows in the result.

Here's exactly what's included in every WashBros clean, and why each part matters.

## The glass

This is the obvious one. We clean both the interior and exterior glass surfaces, removing dirt, grime, water spots, and any organic buildup. We use professional-grade squeegees and cleaning solutions — not household spray and paper towels, which leave streaks and lint.

The result is streak-free, crystal-clear glass that lets maximum light into your home.

## The frames

Most window cleaners only do the glass. We clean the frames on every visit as standard.

Frames collect dust, mould, and grime in the corners and along the edges. Left uncleaned, that buildup transfers back onto the glass and shortens the time before your next clean is needed. It also looks bad — clean glass in dirty frames is a half-finished job.

We wipe down all frames as part of our standard 3-in-1 service.

## The sills

Window sills are a dust and moisture trap. They collect dead insects, pollen, dirt, and often develop mould in the corners — especially in Auckland's humid climate.

We clean the sills on every visit. It's the finishing touch that makes the whole window look properly done.

## Inside and outside

We clean both sides of the glass unless you specify otherwise. Interior glass gets fingerprints, condensation marks, and dust. Exterior glass gets everything the weather throws at it. Both need attention for a complete result.

Just let us know when booking if you only need one side — we'll price accordingly.

## What we don't do

We're window cleaners, not builders. We remove paint overspray, silicone residue, and adhesive from glass only — not from frames, sills, or surrounding surfaces. Those materials require different treatment and are outside our scope.

If you have post-construction residue on the glass itself, that's something we specialise in. If it's on the frames or surrounding surfaces, you'll need a builder or painter to address that separately.

## The quote process

We price per pane, so you only pay for what you have. Send us your details — property type, number of panes, and whether you need inside, outside, or both — and we'll get a quote back to you within minutes to an hour via email.

No obligation, no pushy sales. Just a fair, upfront price.
