What the three parts are

A 3-in-1 window clean covers three components on every visit:

1. The glass — both interior and exterior surfaces, cleaned streak-free using professional squeegees and cleaning solution.

2. The frames — the surrounding frame on all four sides of each window, wiped down to remove dust, grime, mould, and buildup from the corners and edges.

3. The sills — the horizontal ledge at the bottom of the window, cleaned of dust, dead insects, pollen, moisture marks, and any mould growth.

Most window cleaners only do the glass. Some will wipe the frames if you ask. Very few include sills as standard. WashBros includes all three on every job, every time.

Why frames and sills matter

The glass gets the attention, but the frames and sills are where the problems start.

Frames collect dust and grime in the corners and along the edges. When it rains, or when you open the window, that buildup transfers back onto the glass. If you've ever had windows cleaned and noticed they looked dirty again within a week, this is often why — the glass was cleaned but the frames weren't.

Frames also develop mould in Auckland's humid climate, particularly in south-facing rooms or areas with poor ventilation. Left uncleaned, that mould spreads and becomes harder to remove.

Sills are a moisture trap.
